How to Connect Xero to iCollect
Step 1: Log into iCollect
Head to www.icollect.co.nz and log in to your account.
Step 2: Go to Integrations
Click on the ‘xero' tab in your dashboard and when logging in.
Step 3: Authorise Access
You’ll be redirected to Xero to give permission. This ensures secure access to your invoice and customer data.
Step 4: Sync Your Invoices
Once connected, iCollect will pull through any overdue invoices (based on your settings). You can review and select which invoices to act on. Nothing is pulled through under 30 days old.
Step 5: Chase
Upon chasing the first letter via email and text will be sent to the debtor within business hours. Watch and wait to see what happens. Download, print and post the letter, if you choose.
What Happens Next?
Once connected, iCollect works quietly in the background:
Issues the formal letters each week for three weeks.
Directly asks debtor to make payment into your bank account and contact you direclty to address any matters pertaining to the invoice.
Updates payments when they are reconciled in your xero account automatically.
Upon the payment being paid in full and reconciled in your xero account and thank you letter is sent to close the matter with the debtor.
